ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Audacity
The CASC 2010 Annual Conference’s theme is AUDACITY. Science is definitely a field where daring can be given free reign. Many crazy and revolutionary ideas have crystallized into real projects thanks to bold creators who believed in their ideas. Science museums and similar organisations can also take pride in taking a bold approach in their operations, programming and event funding.
Conference Profile
The eighth Annual Conference, hosted by the Montréal Science Centre, is expected to attract more than 120 delegates. The three day conference will include a variety of conferences and workshops, a pre-conference activity, an inspiring keynote speaker, as well as social events including a Welcome Reception, a Trade Show and a Friday Night Awards Gala.
All events are geared towards facilitating practical innovations in the development, delivery, and support of science engagement activities. Individuals from science centres and museums, planetariums and children’s museums, outreach organisations, governments, private sector and schools are all welcome to join us.
